Honorable Brad Sherman, Committee on Veterans Affairs and Intelligence Committee:
Attached you will find a 3 page medical record
dated 12/18/2000 from my VA Medical File. You will see that I made an
appointment with a psychiatrist at the VA with a chief complaint
of:
"Need to clear some things up for myself
and hopefully for the VA."
The assessment was:
51 y/o without psychiatric diagnosis
presenting for what he thought was a session in which he could present his
evidence of the undercover work he did with the Navy and the Martin Luther King
assassination. Based on a cursory exam of documents and pictures, he has
done some work of this nature but to what extent is
uncertain.
Since there has not been any action by the VA to
straighten this out it has become necessary for me to bring it to the
Congress for resolution. If my memory serves me right the psychiatrist
last comment to me was: "Mr. Revel you don't have any mental illness,
what you have is a legal problem with the United States Government and we can't
help you with that."
