The counterintelligence program directed by FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover to destroy Martin Luther King Jr. has been recognized as a travesty to justice and is completely exposed in the new release of JFK files that focus on MLK. Team members of the squad were called the 'Destroy King Squad' in the 1960's as they went about spying on and trying to demoralize the Nobel Peace Prize Winner.

J. Edgar Hoover's FBI slammed MLK's Nobel Peace Prize Award March 12 of 1968, only a few weeks before they helped in his assassination and cover-up of his killing on April 4, 1968. Upon winning the award King had said, "History has thrust me into this position. It would be both immoral and a sign of ingratitude if I did not face my moral responsibility to do what I can in the civil rights struggle."

Hoover's hate and obsessive focus on King is illustrated in the following statement by the FBI as they slammed King for his personal life and committment to his causes, "These facts about the Nobel Peace Prize winner make his remarks seem incongruous when he replied after winning this cherished award."

The slamming of King is broad and deep in it's contempt of him and every good thing he stands for. The African-American civil rights organization, Southern Christian Leadership Conference, which MLK founded, is labeled a 'tax dodge'. They claimed his organization had associates who were communists and slandered him with many accusations and charges that he was a moral misfit who engaged in a degenerate sexual lifestyle. The FBI includes in it's documetation language heard by wiretaps and bugs they put in his hotel rooms in order to use those recordings of his private life to try to get him to commit suicide. In 1964 a package of these tapes of his private sex activities and a letter was sent to King's home and received by his wife, Coretta. The letter clearly was an attempt to persuade the civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King J., to commit suicide.

I learned in 1977 of this secret operation and of the related stand MLK took on April 4, 1967 when he made public his desire to end the Vietnam War. It's clear the timing, opportunity and execution of King's killing, JFK's killing, and RFK's killing, together with these new secret files release, as part of the JFK assassination files, shows that the FBI and others in government saw a clear link between Martin Luther King's assassination and the Vietnam War and the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. This helps in the understanding that the assassinations of JKF, MLK, and RFK were because each of these men were deliberately and meaningfully going to help end the Vietnam War if they had lived.

The secrecy and extreme nature of the campaign Hoover's FBI ran against MLK shows that Hoover had an obsession and contempt of MLK that he did not want the world to know about. He only wanted those to know that were with him on plans to assassinate him.

MLK was shot and killed on April 4, 1968, exactly one year to the day of his public stand against the Vietnam War that he had made at Riverside church in New York on April 4. 1967. This was a warning to others that those who attempted to hinder the progression of the war could be killed at the time of the killers choosing and in a way that no one could ever know who the real killers were. Their Method was to set up a patsy to take the fall in the same manner they killed JFK and RFK.

The release of this information is a nail in the coffin of all the Lone Nut Gunman theories that have been propagandized and pushed on the public since day one of MLK's killing. In their totality the release of the JFK files, along with the cumulative evidence I have found, prove that my investigation and my findings correct in that JFK, MLK and RFK were killed, primarily, because of their plans, hopes and desire to end the Vietnam War.

Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future.
